The goal for Forest and Wildlife was to gain brand name awareness. If someone in their service areas has a problem with squirrels, bats or any other unwanted animal guests, we want Forest and Wildlife to be the first company that comes to mind. None of their competitors were investing in broadcast, so we saw this as an opportunity to be the first to stake a claim in the minds of their target market. That meant in needed to be memorable. So we went the Jim Henson route and gave our “Unwanted Guests” some humorous personalities.
